At Hometown Hot Dogs, we’ve always loved being part of the vibrant Food-A-Palooza festival, bringing our gourmet hot dogs, sausages, and sides to the community. However, after much consideration, we’ve made the decision to step back from Food-A-Palooza in 2025.

This year, we’ve observed a significant increase in food based events in and around the Mapleton area, leading to market saturation. While we’re thrilled to see the food scene thrive, we believe this is the perfect opportunity to regroup, innovate, and plan something truly special for the future.

We’re already gearing up for an incredible return to Food-A-Palooza in 2026, and trust us—it’s going to be bigger, better, and more accessible than ever before! Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect:
- A Prime Location: We’re working with the event organizers to secure a location that’s more accessible to all, ensuring everyone can enjoy the festival.
- An Expanded Menu: By 2026, we’ll have perfected our funnel cakes, which are already making their debut this year! These crispy, golden treats are fried to perfection and served with your choice of toppings.
- Enhanced Experience: With more space and better facilities, we’re committed to making your Food-A-Palooza experience unforgettable.
Funnel Cakes Are Here!
While we won’t be at Food-A-Palooza this year, we’re thrilled to announce that funnel cakes are officially on our 2025 menu! Thanks to our new fryer, we can whip up multiple 8-inch funnel cakes at a time, ensuring you get your sweet fix quickly and deliciously. Be sure to try them at one of our other events this season!
